    Eligibility

    Power Connect programme aims to encourage energy saving among residential customers and supporting the underprivileged. CLP has allocated HK$21 million, and has provided electricity subsidy of HK$500 to 30,000 households in need, including the aged 65 or above either elderly singleton or elderly doubletons, the disabled, and low-income earners, and a subsidy of HK$600 to 10,000 households living in subdivided units.

     

    Beneficiary must be nominated by Power Connect partnered Non-Governmental Organisation(NGOs).

    Aged 65 or above either Elderly Singleton(s) or Elderly Doubletons 
    Beneficiary who aged 65 or above and receiving “Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme” or “Higher Old Age Living Allowance” or “Normal Old Age Living Allowance” .

    Low-Income Earners
    Beneficiary who receiving “Working Family Allowance  (WFA) Scheme” or “Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme” or “Full Grant of The School Textbook Assistance (TA) Scheme” .

    The Disabled 
    Beneficiary who receiving “Registration Card for People with Disabilities” or “Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme with Transport Supplement” or “Social Security Allowance (SSA) Scheme with Disability Allowance. 

    Subdivided Units Household (Subsidies for Electricity Expenses) 
    Households living in subdivided units in the buildings in CLP Power supply areas.  

     

    All beneficiaries must be:

    1.    Hong Kong Resident with a Hong Kong identity card#;
    2.    Living in CLP electricity supply area;
    3.    Able to provide relevant document numbers and CLP residential customer account number.

    #Those holding visas or recognizance forms issued by the Immigration Department are not eligible.

    •  Quotas are limited.
    •  All applications must be nominated through Power Connect partnered NGOs within the application period. Individual applications are not accepted.
